Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school. We are a vibrant and high-achieving 11–18 school proudly serving the Newham community. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, and this diversity gives our school its energy, character, and strength.

Our success is rooted in an unwavering focus on what matters most: exceptional teaching, meaningful learning, and high expectations for every student. Students benefit from inspiring teaching, positive behaviour for learning and strong, purposeful leadership. While we are proud of what we have achieved, we are never complacent and are always seeking to improve further.

Our motto, “success through effort and determination” underpins daily life at the academy and reflects our clear mission: to ensure that no child is left behind.

We offer a broad blend of academic and vocational pathways, supported by outstanding facilities. These include a state-of-the-art theatre, audio-visual recording studios, excellent sports and fitness provision, and modern, well-resourced classrooms, workshops, and laboratories. High-quality IT and related technology supports learning across all areas of the school.
